Entegra for Oracle Adds HP-UX And AIX Support

Lumigent Technologies data-auditing product now supports SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase databases running Windows, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX.

Lumigent Technologies Inc., Acton, Mass., yesterday released versions of its Entegra data auditing software for Oracle databases on the HP-UX and AIX operating systems.

Entegra is now available for the SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase databases running Windows, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX.

Data auditing is an essential practice for enterprises to account for the integrity, security, and privacy of corporate data and address risk management and regulatory compliance requirements. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act, where financial misrepresentation by public companies is punishable by fines, imprisonment, or both, has been the major catalyst for data auditing this year.

Organizations that use Oracle databases can deploy Entegra to assure end-to-end integrity of financial transactions for regulatory compliance, detect and analyze breaches in user and application behavior, monitor critical data for unauthorized changes and approved changes, validate policies and controls for protecting sensitive data and continually monitor the effectiveness of these polices and controls, and rapidly respond to violations and vulnerabilities

Entegra for Oracle on HP-UX and AIX is available immediately. A typical configuration for a single server begins at $20,000 for a base system. Additional servers begin at $10,000, depending on server configuration.

Lumigent is demonstrating Entegra for Oracle at Oracle OpenWorld this week in San Francisco.
